Sacred Mind, Sacred Body – Living in Harmony with Yourself

April 4 @ 7:00 pm - 9:00 pm

Meditation, Yoga, and Support [along with healthy eating and exercise] have been shown to prevent and reverse heart disease, reduce the risk of breast and metastatic prostate cancer, and improve both quality and length of life.

Jude Harrison, MD – who has ADHD, can’t touch his toes, and is prone to social isolation – is a real life example that these techniques can be incorporated into anyone’s life and be fun. Often people who think they can’t meditate just haven’t found the forms that work for them.

Join Jude in a 6 week playful experiential sampler to discover effective mind-body tools that fit you and your busy life.  We’ll explore using breathing, guided imagery; laughter yoga; concentration, awareness, and mindfulness experiments; sensing and directing energy; using movement, drawing, and writing to tap into our intuitive wisdom, access and safely express our emotions, and relieve pent up tension. We’ll have the opportunity to witness and affirm each other and deepen our connections.

In addition to being a board certified family physician, wiccan high priest and elder with decades of creating and leading rituals, Dr. Harrison is a founding diplomat of the American Board of Holistic Medicine; completed a 4 year certification and supervision advanced training through the Center of Mind-Body medicine, and  a 4 year training in Gestalt and Expressive therapies with a focus on Creative Healthy Emotional Expression and Leading Large Group Exercises.

This is week one of a six week program.

Registration for this program closes at 5PM on Sunday, April 3.
