The Black Lives Matter movement raises questions for those of us who want to be part of the solution, who want to be white allies. What does it mean to be a White Ally? How can the Pagan Community step up? What information do we need to be effective helpers and allies? Is cultural appropriation an issue?
Lora Jackson Legare’s family was involved in the Civil Rights movement in her childhood, and she had a front row seat to that historic movement.
Rowan was raised in the Jim Crow South. She, too, saw the civil rights movement up close and personal, but from a completely different perspective. Their experiences inform their point of view and experiences to help answer these questions and more.
